Nearly two months ago I wrote about a very personal photo project, the closing of Blue Cloud Abbey. I made several visits to the Abbey. Two events were especially significant. On August 3rd, members of neighboring religious communities and church leaders from other states participated in a special mass. On August 5th, a closing mass was open to the public. I attended both events to document them. 

The monks are in the process of moving to other monasteries. The property is up for sale.
